Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress who is famous for her parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. She began her career in the 80s before coming to popularity with her role in the Tezaab film, in which she was a part of the cast alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. Her next role was in Dil in which she starred alongside Aamir. Early on, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle class she started to dance. When she was a teen she started acting, and struggled for years as the majority of her first films were failures. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. After marriage, she experienced a break in her career before re-entering the film industry. More recently she played an integral role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women across India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's received 8. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. In addition, she is recognized for her charity work.
