Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since the age of 13, Rosalia Vila has been a participant in pop music as well as flamenco. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is described by no less a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. This album won it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It included collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. It was released in 2022 because of a Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
