Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. The majority of her childhood listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs, as well old classical pieces. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother taught her to sing, but she started more intense singing lessons by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. As a student and young professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After relocating into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. The love she has for the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and instructor. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
